Sindh High Court on Friday extended the pre-arrest bail of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf for 15 days.
The court extended protective bail to Musharraf in the case of ‘illegal confinement’ of 62 judges after he declared a state of emergency in the country on November 3, 2007.
Musharraf, who returned home from four years in self-imposed exile on Sunday, arrived at the Sindh High Court in Karachi, which last week granted him temporary, protective bail before he flew back to Pakistan.
On March 22, Judge Sajjad Ali Shah had posted bail at 300,000 rupees ($3,000) over the 2007 assassination of Bhutto, the 2007 illegal sacking of judges and the 2006 killing of Akbar Bugti.
