ANP leader Farooq Khan slightly injured in Charsadda blast

Farooq Khan was on the campaign trail for the May 11 general election.


PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Awami National Party (ANP) leader Farooq Khan sustained minor injuries when his vehicle was targeted with a remote controlled bomb in Sardheri area of Charsadda on Wednesday.

Farooq Khan was on his way for election campaigning in Sardheri area when an improvised explosive device (IED) hit his car.

Security personnel and police contingent rushed to the site soon after the attack and cordoned off the area

No group has claimed responsibility of the attack.
