Blast kills 2 rangers men, hurts several in Korangi

KARACHI: A bomb explosion targeting a rangers vehicle in Korangi #5 area of the metropolis on Wednesday killed two rangers personnel and injured several others, sources said.
According to rangers sources, the incident took place when a bomb blast ripped through a rangers vehicle near Bhittai Rangers Headquarters located in Korangi #5 area.
Exchange of fire between the attackers and rangers personnel was also reported.
Rescue and emergency response teams have engaged in performing their respective activities at the site of the incident.
