Pervez Musharraf appeared in court amid tight security.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court on Friday extended former military ruler Pervez Musharraf’s interim bailfor another six days in judges’ detention case.
The court court also directed Musharraf to submit surety bond worth Rs 500,000.
The court had issued arrest warrants against the former president for allegedly detaining over 60 judges, including Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, following proclamation of the state of emergency in the country on Nov 3, 2007.
Musharraf returned last month from four years of self-imposed exile to stand in the May 11 election.
