Karachi: Blast near PPP rally kills 5

At least five people were killed when a bomb exploded near a PPP corner meeting in Lyari.


KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, a bomb planted on a motorcycle went off in Lyari area of Karachi where Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was holding a public rally, killing at least five people and injuring 40 others.


The PPP candidate for PS-111 Adnan Baloch is among the injured. This was the second blast on Saturday.


Earlier, three people were killed and 15 others were injured in a blast at Orangi Town Qasba Colony near Muttahida Qaumi Movement office of Unit No 132.
