By on Tuesday, April 30, 2013

KARACHI: Five family members were found dead in their house in Defence phase IV Tuesday, Geo News reported.
According to police, five bodies bearing bullet wounds were recovered from a house located in Defence area. Initial reports suggest that the man and owner of the house killed his wife and three children before committing suicide as the bullets were fired from the same pistol.
Police have already brushed aside the chances of any heist as the valuables of the house were in place and nothing was missing.
The deceased man was identified as Jamal Durrani who was the finance director of a sugar mill.
The neighbours told that they heard the gunshots but were not certain about the time of the incident. Rescue teams reached the spot while police cordoned off the area and started investigation.
