Karachi violence claims 5 more lives

At least five people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.


KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Lyari and shot dead two people.

In another incident of firing, a man identified as Muhammad Ismail was gunned down whereas another man was killed in Orangi Town.

On the other hand, a man who was injured in firing incident in the jurisdiction of Manghu Pir Police Station succumbed to his wounds in hospital.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 24 suspects during an operation in Guzri area of Clifton. According to police the suspects were wanted in cases of murder, attempted murder and extortion.

In a separate operation conducted in Maripur area, Rangers arrested banned TTP activist Saeed Alam and his accomplice. According to sources Saeed Alam belong to Baituallh Mehsud. Both the arrested persons have been shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
