LHC suspends Dasti's sentence in degree case

LHC Multan Bench has suspended jail sentence for former MNA Jamshed Dasti in fake degree case.


MULTAN (Dunya News) - A local court in Multan had sentenced former MNA Jamshed Dasti to three years in prison with 5,000 fine.

Dasti appealed to the Lahore High Court, Multan Bench against the decision which suspended his sentence ordering his immediate release.

It is worth mentioning that Jamshed Dasti had announced to contest election from NA-177 and 178 as an independent candidate but failed to qualify due to conviction in fake degree case.
