Lack of electricity could not be mended despite tall claims of the government.

LAHORE (Dunya News):-The duration of loadshedding is widening with the passage of time across Pakistan, causing tremendous loss to agricultural and industrial sectors.

Finance ministry has released about Rs 11 billion to the PCO in the context of payment for oil but there is no improvement in the provision of electricity to the masses.

On the other hand, the Uch Power Station hit by terrorist has come in working order and started to provide electricity to the people of related area but despite this, shortfall of 4500 MW could not be overcome.

According to reliable sources, after release of funds, the supply of oil would be made better as compared to previous days and in this way, the IPPs will start multiplying electricity generation.

It is worth mentioning that people of rural areas are bound to face loadshedding for more than 18 hours while urban areas upto 14 hours.
