Mengal expresses concern over Balochistan law and order

By on Sunday, April 07, 2013

Mengal said the situation in the province had not improved in the caretaker setup.

QUETTA (Online): The Balochistan National Party chief Akhtar Mengal on Sunday said that no-go-areas still exist in Balochistan and dead bodies were being found.

Speaking to media he said that the situation in the volatile province had not improved in the caretaker setup, adding that the establishment was not ready to pay heed to Baloch voice.

Mengal said that issues could not be resolved through use of forces instead use of force complicated them.

He said that the election process would be doubtful if law and order situation was not improved in Balochistan.

He hinted that free and transparent elections in Balochistan are very hard to imagine under the current circumstances in this regard.

He further added that weather in Quetta is pleasant but atmosphere is bloody and we can smell the blood of martyrs.

Usage of Force and Gun is no solution to Balochistan as dialogue is the only way to solve thorny issues, he asserted.

Mengal added that since last 65 years, people of Balochistan (Baloch) are looking at the government to solve their problems but in vain as no one listen to our heeds.
