KASUR (Dunya News) - The returning officer in Kasur’s NA-139 constituency has rejected the nomination papers of former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf for the coming general elections.
The returning officer accepted the objections and rejected the former dictator’s nomination paper.
A local lawyer advocate had raised objections over the candidacy of Musharraf, saying that he does not qualify to contest elections under Article 62, 63 of the constitution.
