Peshawar: Two killed in rocket attack on grid station

Some unidentified miscreants launched rocket attack on Sheikh Muhammad Grid Station in Peshawar during night between Monday and Tuesday, killing two people.
The rocket attack was followed by indiscriminate firing by miscreants. Those who were killed in the attack were identified as Community Police official Khalid Saeed and Wapda Security in charge Mairaj. According to sources, five Wapda officials are also missing.

The control room of the grid station caught fire after the rocket attack due to which the supply of electricity was disrupted. The fire was brought under control after a hectic effort of two hours.
