Chief Election Commissioner has received the letter written on the behalf President Asif Zardari.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):-President Asif Ali Zardari has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner according to which the PML-N is making false propaganda against the president under the guise of election campaign.

President’s spokesman Farhatullah Baber handed over the aforesaid letter to the Chief Elections Commissioner.
He was of the view that some political parties are scandalizing the president for their vested interest in polls.

“Being head of the state, President Asif Ali Zardari has not participated in any political ceremony or political meeting. The court has really appreciated the positive role played by the president for consolidation of democratic culture”, said the letter.

According to the letter, president is bound to follow the constitution; that is why he can’t react the allegations leveled against the PML-N regarding corruption and lawlessness in the country.

It has been requested to the chief election commission that the PML-N should be stopped from releasing irresponsible statements against the president.
