Sindh top bureaucracy reshuffled over ECP orders

By on Friday, April 12, 2013

ECP had given seven days deadline to Sindh caretaker government to implement its order.

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Friday reshuffled the top bureaucracy in the province on the orders of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The provincial government has changed deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, secretaries and director generals in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Larkana.

The orders to reshuffle Sindh’s top bureaucrats were issued following receipt of several complaints against them.

The commission also directed the interim governments to ensure that the bureaucracy remains impartial.
