Two men were killed while 14 people injured in blasts erupted at MQM local office in Karachi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The incident occurred at Orangi Town Qasba Colony near Muttahida Qaumi Movement office of Unit No 132.

The windowpanes of nearby buildings were broken as a result of the blast.

MQM leader Wasih Jalil said unit office was closed for the last three days and there was no report of any casualty of any party.

Earlier addressing a rally in Nawabshah, MQM chief Altaf Hussain had said that MQM, PPP and ANP were being targeted by the terrorists.

Having information about the blast, security forces cordoned off the site of occurrence and started search operation. However, no group or outfit has accepted the responsibility of the blast.

Situation is the metropolis is going from bad to worse with the passage of time and destructive forces tend to put stumbling blocks in the way of general elections.

Interim government apparently has failed to maintain law and order situation in the metropolis.
