Lawyers go on strike against colleague's killing

Clients are bound to wander here and there due to boycott of lawyers in Karachi.


KARACHI (Dunya News):-Lawyers community expressing their solidarity with the family of deceased counsel and his two sons who were ruthlessly gunned down on Tuesday have boycotted the court proceedings in Karachi on Wednesday.

Lawyer did not appear in lowers courts including city courts and Malir and other courts. They locked the main gates of the courts where nobody was allowed to enter except lawyers and judicial staff.

No prisoner could be presented before the court due to strike.

It is worthy of note that unidentified gun men had killed a lawyer Kauser Saqlain and two of his sons last day.
