PPP leads in Sindh, PMAP, PML-N likely to form coalition in Balochistan

Not a single party has achieved decisive position in Sindh and Balochistan in general elections.


QUETTA (Dunya News) - Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party has secured 11 while PML-N eights seats in Balochsitan in general elections and both are likely to form a coalition in the provincial government.

Election Commission has announced results of 48 seats out of 51 seats in Balochistan. Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party stands first with 11 seats while PML-N secured second position by having eight seats.

Independent candidates have succeeded in having eight seats in elections while National Party got six, JUI five and PML-Q four seats.

Dialogues are underway between the leading parties named PML-N and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party.

In Sindh, PPP Parliamentarians stands first with 61 seats while MQM secured second position with 30 positions.

It is worthy of note that former chief minister Qaim Ali Shah, Mansoor Wassan, Agha Siraj Durani, Sharjeel Memon and Awais Muzaffar has won their seats in provincial assembly.

So far as PML-F is concerned, it has won seven seats while PPP six, National People’s Party three and PML-N has won from two constituencies.

Four seats also have been secured by independent candidates.
