LAHORE (Dunya News) - The total power shortfall faced by the country has declined to 4,300 MW from 7,000MW with the improvement in weather, leading to reduction in power outages.

According to latest statistics, the total power supply is 10,000 MW against a total demand of 14,5000 MW, hence the gap has shrunk to 4,300 MW. However, the load-shedding is still being undertaken for 12 hours in urban and 18 hours in rural areas.
According to officials, the power shortage will further slide in the next few days which will ultimately reduce the duration of load-shedding.
Meanwhile, KESC has once again started unscheduled load shedding in Karachi.
