LAHORE (Dunya News) - Sarabjit Singh, an Indian prisoner convicted for his alleged involvement in a string of bomb attacks in Pakistan, died of "cardiac arrest" in Lahore.
Singh was attacked by two inmates Amir Tanba and Mudasir in the Kot Lakhpat jail when he left his barracks for a stroll.
Singh was convicted for his alleged involvement in a string of bomb attacks in Punjab that killed 14 people in 1990. His mercy petitions were rejected by the courts and by former president Pervez Musharraf.
