Eight killed in Peshawar passenger van blast

Peshawar: At least eight people including a woman were killed when a passenger van blew up in the Matni Bazaar area of the city.
At least 20 passengers were on board the van when the blast took place and the deceased and injured have been shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital where emergency has been declared
Following the blast the market was shut down by security forces and the area has been cordoned off.
The bomb disposal squad has reached the site and investigation is underway.
