Karachi: One killed, five injured in separate incidents

KARACHI: A man was killed and five persons were injured in different incidents in the city on Saturday, rescue sources said.
They said a worker Khursheed, 40, son of Aziz, fell from an under-construction building on road and died on the spot on Tariq road near Mateen Centre. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for a postmortem.
Separately, an under-construction wall fell on two workers as a result, Altaf, 35, son of Khuda Bux, and Saddique, 30, son of Ayub, were injured near Disco Bakery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The injured were shifted to Patel Hospital Karachi for treatment.
In another incident, a speeding vehicle hit a bike and left Ghulam Mustafa, 52, son of Muhammad, and his daughter Mariam, 22, injured near PSO petrol pump in Lines Area. The injured were shifted to PNS Shifa for treatment.
Similarly, an unidentified car hit a bike rider, Nawaz, 40, and left him injured near Defense Signal. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
