Fake degrees: ECP de-notifies 11 former parliamentarians

The ECP has de-notified 11 former parliamentarians for possessing fake and invalid degrees.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan directed to register cases in lower courts against these members. However‚ they can take part in polls until convicted.

These former parliamentarians will have to return their perks and privileges to the national exchequer.

These include 5 from Punjab Assembly‚ 2 Sindh Assembly‚ and one Balochistan Assembly and 3 senators.

Those who de-notified are Mir Israrullah Khan‚ Rehana Yahya Baloch‚ Seemal Kamran‚ Nadir Magsi‚ Tariq Magsi‚ Mir Mohabat Marree‚ Shumaila Rana‚ Shabina Khan‚ Samina Khawar Hayat‚ Bashir Ahmed Khan and Rana Ejaz Ahmed.
