Several political parties have demanded resignation of interim Interior Minister Malik Habib Khan.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have demanded the resignation of caretaker Interior Minister Malik Habib Khan over his statement in favour of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

The interim interior minister Malik Habib in his statement on Monday said that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif was the only real leader in Pakistan.

Talking to Dunya News PTI information secretary Shafqat Mahmood said that Malik Habib statement showed his inclination towards a political party and demanded his resignation.

Shafqat Mehmood further said that by making such statement the interim interior minister has shown his biasness, thus making him unacceptable as it could have an effect in the general elections.
