Wajahat declared ineligible for polls

Election tribunal Wednesday declared PML- Q leader Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain ineligible for polls.


LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Election Tribunal has declared former Federal Minister and PML- Q leader Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain ineligible to contest next month’s parliamentary elections.

On Wednesday, the tribunal disqualified the PML-Q leader from running for National Assembly seat from NA-104 Gujrat.

In its decision, the Tribunal rejected an appeal of former minister Ch. Wajahat Hussain, barring him from contesting the upcoming polls from NA-104 Gujrat.
