ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reserved the verdict on the application seeking re-polling in NA-250 of Karachi on Friday.
Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim heard the case. During the hearing, Deputy Convener of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghauri and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Arif Alvi were also present in the commission.
CEC Fakhruddin G Ebrahim reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of both the parties.
The petition for re-polling was filed by Maulvi Iqbal Haider. However, the ECP had already announced to hold re-elections at 45 polling stations of NA-250.
