Imran Khan has demanded recounting of votes in six constituencies.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Returning Officer on Friday rejected PTI chairman Imran Khan’s appeal for vote re-count in NA-122 constituency of Lahore.
According to ECP officials, Imran Khan’s appeal to recounting was rejected from national assembly constituency NA-122 due to lack to evidences.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan (84,417 votes) lost NA-122 Lahore-5 seat against Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq (93,362 votes).
On the other hand, the PTI has been staging protest sit-in in the city since May 12 against “rigging” in May 11 general elections.
The sit-in is organised at Lalik Chowk in Defence area where dozens of party workers and supporters have camped out calling for re-election in NA-122 to NA-125 constituencies.
