Treason case: Musharraf submits reply over counsels

Justice Jawad S. Khawaja in his remarks said that still there is ambiguity in the written reply.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president Pervez Musharraf has submitted his written reply in treason case today.

A three-member bench, headed by Justice Jawad S. Khawaja resumed hearing of the identical petitions seeking initiation of treason case against former President Pervez Musharraf on Thursday.

In his one-page reply, former military ruler Pervez Musharraf said that Ahmed Raza Kasuri‚ Ibrahim Satti and Qamar Afzal should be considered his team of counselors.

The written reply stated that the point of view of his counselors should be considered as his arguments on the formation of a larger bench, adding that arguments of Kasuri and Satti should be considered valid incase of any contradiction.
