LAHORE (Dunya News) – The election tribunal has dismissed the petitions filed against the nomination papers of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif from NA-120.
The Sukkur tribunal has also rejected the objections raised against Qaim Ali Shah and Agha Siraj Durrani.
The Lahore High Court’s election tribunal resumed hearing of the different petitions against the nomination papers of candidates on Friday.
The tribunal is likely to issue a verdict over the appeal of Pervez Musharraf to contest elections from Kasur.
Meanwhile, the Peshawar High Court’s tribunal is also hearing the pleas against the nomination papers. The appellate tribunal declared former state minister Malik Azmat as eligible to contest from NA-34 and PK-97.
Meanwhile, the Sukkur tribunal allowed Qaim Ali Shah to contest elections from PS-29.
