Educational institutions to remain closed from May 8 to 13

Teachers will perform their duties during general election.


LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Government of Punjab and Sindh have decided to close down all the public and private educational institutions in the province from Wednesday till Monday due to the forthcoming general elections.

Punjab education secretary said that the step has been taken in view of the election duties of the teachers.

He said in this connection a notification has been released that educational institutions will remain close from 8th to 13th May.

A notification declaring holidays from May 9 to 11 in educational institutions across Balochistan has also been issued.
